Cheap 9mm ammo

When I 1st started reading this thread, I read everything twice except the dates. The prices descibed didn't make sense, then I noticed 2007. How things have changed!

Just for shits and giggles, when I buy boxes of ammo, I write the date, and price paid on the box with a marker.

It's interesting to look at the price increases between purchases.

In the past 10-15 years, I've never written on a box and found that the number was less than the last one purchased. I have no idea where people come up with the idea that ammo prices will "come back down".

I have been trying to find 9mm hollow points in butler area. I finally had to drive 18mi north to gun world and got some gold dots. Seems like ammo is getting scarce

You should have stopped at Wal-Mart for white box Winchesters. Unless you were looking for high-dollar JHP. Did you check Sportsman's Supply?

Sadly I also do the same. If I was smarter I would have invested even more in ammo instead of my 401K

Not to get you upset, but you can buy 9mm cheaper at walmart.

I wish my Walmart still sold ammo...... thought it was a Company wide thing to stop selling it.

I just bought 3 boxes of Blazer Brass 9mm for $8.97 each. They just got these in a few weeks ago.

The only thing I get at Gun World is One Shot case lube, about $2 cheaper than everywhere else. Sportsmans supply is where I go for everything else.
Well, there and Master Cast.

Not sure on the going prices of ammo anymore, I only buy my carry rounds. I reload the rest (xcept .22 of course).
