Friend was robbed...what would you have done?

That's cool and all.......

I wasn't singling out your quote/statement though. More so the code that the other dude posted about no use of force if you can just 'give it up' to eliminate the threat.

Hand him all my cash and tell him to have a good day...report it to the police.
No amount of cash I have in my pocket is worth the risk of getting injured or having to face the storm after I shot him...
I would not let it go as far as taking him to a ATM...

It's always a bad idea to let a perp take you to a secondary location.

Simple scenerio (If I'm having a really good day)-

Them: Give me all your money.
Me: Don't come any closer.
Them: Don't make me pull out my piece.
*Draw*
Me: FLAT AGAINST THE GROUND.

If they comply: reach for my cell
Otherwise, shoot.

I know it sounds terrible, but what with the criminals-rights laws, if you ARE gonna shoot, you might be better off being as lethal as possible.
