a little info please

so i have an old stevens side byside 12ga.that my granpa bought in the mid 40s and i dont real know much about it the only other markings on it besides the company is the #5100 any ideas?

Google search, they can be a bit pricey if in nice shape.

Here's a link to a schematic - though you probably don't need it. The gun reminds me of other Stevens/Savage SXSs like the 311. Bombproof guns if a bit on the heavy side. The last 311 that i saw was in great condition and had sat in the gunshop for years; it may still be there. It was $275 two years ago.
I 'd expect the 5100 to be in the same price range.
