moved from delaware county to philly LTCF
Hi all this is my first post here and i must say this site is great. I recently obtained a LTCF issued in Delaware county where i was residing until last week, now im in philadelphia county. Do I need to update my permit? I couldn't find any of this on the sheriff's website. Also does anyone know of any home defense shotgun training courses, I've seen plenty of handgun courses but no shotgun courses.
thanks all

Your LTCF is good until the expiration date. You may want to call the DelCo sheriff just to update their records...but you are not required to.

Re: moved from delaware county to philly LTCF
You probably want to for two reasons:
1 (more importantly): If your LTCF is revoked, they will send the letter to the address they have. It's not their fault if you don't receive it, and your license is still revoked, you just don't know about it. So you could be carrying without a license and not know it. And since your license was revoked, you're "not eligible" for a license and therefore it would be a felony, rather than an M1.
2. The sheriff is supposed to mail you a notice 60 days before your LTCF expires.
(IANAL, please correct me if I'm wrong!)

I'm almost certain you have to have a Philadelphia City permit, your delaware county one is not any good there, but not certain how that works with a move.... But I do know that you have to fill out a different application for Philadelphia.
