The FAL was used by over 93 countries at one time, and is well known as a superior firearm.
I dont own a DSA, but I have built several FALs, and still own 3..they go with me whenever I shoot rifles...I have shot DSAs a lot, and tho pricey, they are VERY nice.

DSA makes a great product, and thier receivers are especially well known for quality...you wont go wrong buying a DSA FAL.

My FALs are kit guns, Imbel receivers forged and made on FN equipment in Brazil, and utilize Austrian StG-58 parts kits, and DSA US parts...the StG58 being probably one of the best FAL iterations ever made.

my carbine is a serious mongrel Imbel Reciever, StG58 chopped barrel, DSA parts, and Imbel para lower receiver...it works flawlessly.

buy a NF/FAL...yu wont be sorry!

I have owned FALS in a few different configurations (sold one to a friend, kept one and had custom work done) .

    21" BBL SA-58 Standard Contour
    16.5" Izzy Pattern
    16.5 Standard Contour
18" Standard Contour with Aluminum FreeFloat Tube done by Rich at CGW

All awesome guns/set-ups. I prefer an 18" bbl for .308 rifles due to the volume and muzzle blast...a break is not needed, the FAL is plenty heavy.

I can shoot chain links in half at 100 yards with my 18" FAL and could when it had a 16.5" bbl on (DSA SA-58).

All in all, a great rifle. More accurate than the naysayers would like to think, VERY reliable (though my custom job was set-up so tight, it did have some teething time). The flimsy front hand guards can get hot on the SA-58 after repeated strings of rapid fire, I prefer the free-float tube or the Israeli type hand guards myself for that very reason.

Great rifles, cheap mags, plenty of aftermarket parts and a huge support forum at www.falfiles.com.

    Any questions, just ask.

I bought a DS Arms SA-58 carbine about three years ago.

It is my favorite weapon!!! Never had any problems with it.

Got it from Lauer Custom Weaponry and had them finish with Duracoat.
