$500-$600 but it is just settling down. I have a feeling you will get numbers all over. These numbers are going rate right now.

I picked one up out here in OK from a local shop known for higher than normal prices for $649. Two days later I took it to another shop and left with a Stag Model-1 for $799 (less the $550 I got for the AK that I'd put 500 rounds through)

It seems like the fixed-stock M70's have vanished fom store racks from what I have seen. If Cent brings them back, I'm betting its with new repro wood butts and not the originals with the S/Ns.

Just for grins, try calling your near-by Dunham's and ask if they even have one or can get one. Their prices are about "market" for the "AKs".
    Else, the classifieds.

You're probably right, the M70B1 I picked up had fresh wood without the SN in it.

    Yowza.

I have 2 of the M70AB2s and long debated trading one for a fixed stocker, but I always backed down so I could have one in original Yugo wood and the other in the Century black poly they came in; as the more modern Batman look kinda grew on me.

    Oh well.

My other regret was not getting one of the pimpy chromed Yugos from Classic Arms.

I thought Century was done making the Yugos (ran out of receivers) but they've started up again. The prices seem to be dropping now.

I think if you get one for under $700, your doing well.

There was a guy selling a Yugo fixed stock on this forum not too long ago. I'm sure you could find the thread.

On a side note, Yugo RPKs are suddenly back too (with wood), for around 700. Obviously not as low as they once were but not sky high. I am really surprised by how the gun market is lately- prices dropping and availability going up.

I'd say a good price would range from $500 to $600

If you spend more MONEY then look at a Lancaster AK47 or ARSENAL

    Good luck on your search
