    Lightbulb Cleaning Forum

I know I'm new here and this might have been suggested before, but I think we should have a Cleaning Sub-Forum under the Gunsmithing Forum. That way we could have a place for people to post new products and/or techniques that they have found. It would also let newbies, who haven't had the luxury of learning from their parents while growing up, get an idea how things should go while cleaning.

In my opinion it would be a great way for the experienced gun owners of this forum to pass on their techniques to the less experienced (like me).

I know that not everyone does the same things or even agrees on the "proper" way to do things but right, wrong, proper, inproper, whatever it would let others at least pick and choose what they want to do.

just use the subforum for the actual firearm type.

    Ok, will do.

I guess I have been visiting too many car forums recently. Those guys wash their cars about as much as we all clean our guns, after every drive/shoot, lol.

ETA: I figured it fit under gunsmithing because of the disassembling process. Sleep deprivation will do it to ya hahaha.

When I bought my Glock 19, as a test I didn't clean it. I made it through easily 10k rounds before I cleaned it. I probably could have gone longer.
