LTCF fees

is there already a list of what each County charges an applicant for the LTCF?

If not...i would like to create one...

My thinking...is to supply this list to the PSP...and see what they say about the varying fees...

Would it be worth the time/effort?

I doubt anyone has done so, I have not heard about it for this specific issue.

As to if it would do any good? I don't know. Wouldn't hurt to try I guess.

You'd have to find the right person/department of PSP to send it to... firearms unit maybe?

yes... i was thinking Firearm Division in Harrisburg...

So i got my "price list" made out. Fees range from $24.50 (?) in Mifflin County up to $46 in all the counties bordering Philly.

I'm thinking of also including counties that require things that shouldnt be...for example Mifflin requires a Notarized page with the app...and Philly has 2 extra pages for "Reference questionnaires"...and Armstrong County will only refund $14 of the $26 on denial, its my understanding they can ONLY keep $5.

So if anybody can list other examples of irregularities from law.

In your letter you might want to mention also that many sheriffs still incorrectly refer to the license as a "concealed weapons permit" or other wrong term

And BTW, what's with that Mifflin Co. sheriff's page you posted earlier, on that page it reads:
