Default CC or OC at Bushkill falls?

I'm planning on taking the family to Bushkill today just for a walk around.
I'm curious if anyone's carried there before? I checked to see if it was a state or national but found out, if I was reading it correctly, it is privately owned. Only other info I could find was that in 2004 they were discussing implimenting a new zone ordinace for “Prohibitive Firearms”. Doesn't say how it turned out though.

Bushkill Falls is still owned by the Peters family
I dont see anything as far as firearms...

Yep.. I saw that too.. I'm certainly not going to call and ask, they may say no just because the person answering doesn't like guns.
I guess it's like any other privately owned company then, right?
I'll play it safe and CC and keep an eye out for firearm postings.

My comment was already stated, Privately owned, you could CC/OC all they could do is ask you to leave if they saw it.

I was at Bushkill Falls once, very beautiful area, I hope to get out there again some time but that won't likely be for a few years...

CC is the way to go 'cause there will be alot of NY/NJ critters there and you never know what they will do.

Carry your lightest weapon and wear your best walking shoes as really seeing the whole place amounts to 5 - 6 miles of walking and some of the grades are steep. You will see alot of NY/NJ critters sitting on the side of the trails bitching about how much walking they have to do.

If you ever want to see the Bushkill in it's natural setting search the DCNR web pages for the Delaware State Forest and check out Thunder Swamp trail system. The southwest part between Rt 402 and Snowhill Rd. goes by a section that is fishable [downstream from Easton Anglers Assoc.] so ther are trout to be caught. It's only a mile from the parking lot on Snow Hill Rd.

A bit off topic perhaps, but Dingman's Falls a bit more north on rt 209 is very nice, and free. Be sure to go all the way in, the big fall is at the end of the trail.
