Default No market for snubnose revolvers?

I've been trying to sell my S&W snubby and have had zero interest. Has the interest in snubnose revolvers died out with all the tiny semi autos out there now?

I just bought my first gun this month... I went with a Glock 26.

I was looking mainly for simple and reliable. Even though a quality revolver might have the Glock by a smidgen on both categories, firepower and feel definitely went to the Glock, as well as any semi-auto having the cool factor going for it, even if that only plays a sub-conscious role.

I did consider and even rent an S+W 642, it was waaay harder to shoot, and less firepower, so the Glock won.

Maybe you're asking too much? I don't know, i didn't see your for sale ad.

But, i do think snubbys are on the decline - especially when you can get small autos that hold more ammo.

I looked at your ad and was kind of interested, but I just bought a gun recently. I don't think you are offering a bad deal but your snubbie has the internal lock, which might hurt your used sale potential.

So why may I ask are you selling it? Are you looking to buy a small semi auto that holds more ammo?

    IMHO
    The Clinton idiot lock and it's a J-Frame S&W .38 Special on a J-Frame S&W .357 Magnum platform instead of being on the older/smaller/lighter .38 Special platform.
That idiot lock has posed problems on some S&W products. There are documented cases of these locks failing at firing ranges on several different models that have them; If these locks can fail at the firing range, I wouldn't trust my "six" to a revolver with an idiot lock.

The locks can easily be removed, and if you can't hit your target with the first shot or two what makes you think your going to hit it with next 16 rds.

I don't carry concealed often enough to justify owning it. I OC 99% of the time.

Could you imagine the legal nightmare awaiting you if you intentionally removed the safety device on a gun that was your self defense gun and had to use it?
