DE CCW: Are you an attorney in DE?
If you are an attorney in DE familiar with the following please send me a PM. I have a couple of questions.

Thanks for the links, but I still would like to speak with a DE attorney familiar with DE firearms laws.
Thanks

Re: DE CCW: Are you an attorney in DE?
What Jason is on about is the fact that DE's Attorney General, being Joe Biden's son, has apparently decided to not honor FL and UT non-resident permits any more.
I'd appreciate some clarification on this from anyone with a reputable, quotable source of information.

Re: DE CCW: Are you an attorney in DE?
If it is true it will be a bummer. There are some folks following up, I just lack any legal contacts in DE familiar with firearms law.
It's better to be safe than sorry. I will not carry in DE until I have a clear indication that my FL & UT permits are tuly recognized. It would be optimal is DE would just recognize a PA permit but the "lack of training mandate" is a reason for the DE AG to not offer recognition.
And I am in no way a fan of training mandates for LTC/CCW licenses.

Our AG's site has it all and it's easy for simpletons like me to comprehend...I may be out of the Marine Corps but the Marine Corps is in me for life.

Re: DE CCW: Are you an attorney in DE?
Where exactly did this information come from? My understanding is both FL and UT have and will continue to be accepted as OK. DE makes no distinction between resident or non resident licenses except for trying to obtain a DE CCDW. Nothing written anywhere on the AG's site about non resident permits.
Biden isn't even in town and we have an acting AG in his absence. I also haven't heard anything about any changes in reciprocity with any states for over a year.(before Biden became AG)
Good luck finding a DE lawyer willing to give out free information. We almost had a couple join the DE OC forum but they backed out and never joined. Seems most of the lawyers here aren't up on handgun laws and none that specialize in this area. Even had one asking us if it was OK for him to carry to work and the court house. We explained to him the first is up to his employer and the latter is a big fat NO. You'd think they would know or be able to find out this information without asking a bunch of non legal 'gun nuts'.Divided we ever have been, and ever must be.Two thirds always had and will have more difficulty to struggle with the one third than with all our foreign enemies. - John Adams
