Transfer required?
My friend wants to sell me a rifle. We are both here in PA (less than a block away) and I was wondering what paper work (if any) is necessary for this purchase. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Transfer required?
As long as you are legally able to own it...NONE. Long gun transfers are fine FTF in PA.
Would recommend a bill of sale though, check out the "Classifieds" section there is a free bill of sale you can print. It is posted as a sticky at the top of the page."Disperse you Rebels! Damn you! Throw down your Arms and Disperse!" British Major Pitcairn at Lexington April 19, 1775

Re: Transfer required?
762xIAN has got it right.
Use this link http://www.pafoa.org/forum/firearms-...-free-use.html for the firearm bill of sale. I would not sell a weapon if the buyer wasnt willing to fill it out and sign it.
Now buying on the other hand......==============

Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!”

Re: Transfer required?
Thanks for the info. My friend inherited a bunch of guns and he has no interest in them at all nor does he know anything about them. I, ofcourse, am being perfectly honest with him because he is a friend. Now if I can figure out what to offer him for the Rem 700 w/ Leo scope I'd be in business. I'll have to post pics and get the expert opinions here.
Thank you.

depending on what he has I'd be willing to take some of them off his hands, just let me know.
