Default Wheel gun guys come in.

I have the itch to get my first wheel gun. So I'm looking for suggestions as to what to buy. I have a few I'm looking at and I have my preferences as to brand and caliber. But I'm open to suggestions.

    I was shooting a .44 Super Red Hawk last night and a S&W .38 Police. I also shot a Airweight S&W .38 and a .500 S&W.

I loved the Red Hawk and the .38P. The .500 is AWESOME but is there really a reason to buy one, except to make my pecker bigger?

I'm not going to carry it, or hunt with it. I just love the mechanics and the bang of the bigger calibers. So would a .357 fit this bill or should I stay with the big bores?

What have you learned through your purchases and owning experiences through the years?

Also, you can neg rep me if you want but I will only buy a U.S made revolver.

The .357 would be a good choice IMO, and you could still shoot your .38 stuff through it.

If God didn't intend us to have guns why would he have given us a trigger finger?

The practical side of me is telling me to go with a .357. But when I was rapid firing the .44 Red Hawk the thunder was.....well exciting.

Opposed to the .500 which was a light squeeze followed by a full second of chaos. Maybe I'll have to try a .357 out.

I loved my old mans 357, I've been trying to get it back from my aunt for close to a year now. You can put almost anything thru them, .38spl, +p's, and a slew of .357 rds. A .357 can bark thunder as well my friend.
