Exclamation its done! its done! its finally done!!!!!

lookit! i finally got my ar all done up purdy like. its a regular bushy xm-15 i switched out the hand guard and sight/gas block. added the trituim front site and a CAA stock. and best of all added an eotech that just bought today. i took it to the range this afternoon and MAN! that little site is awesome!!! i also painted it myself. thats right krylon baby! krylon and ferns. i guees it could use a magpul moe grip. and maybe i'll swap gas blocks for a lo pro block so i can put a 10" rail and mag pul b.u.s. front site....... i guess its not really done.

    very nice!
After WW3, only roaches will survive, and they will live in steel AK mags.

Thumbs up Re: its done! its done! its finally done!!!!!

well the rifle has always shot well. function wise. but i think this is the first time i can call it acurate.

    preliminary range report:

    bushmaster xm-15 5.56 hbar 1:9

25 yds (indoor) 55gr remington umc. fire from standing bench position two seperate strings of 5 rounds on 2 seperate targets. 5 round groups ALL INSIDE the red center bull of a "shoot and see" target. ok, one was on the line but it would have been scored as a hit by NRA guidelines. fire from standing unsupported all rounds landed well within idpa scoring zone -0 on center mass.

yea yea i know 25 yds is not a real rifle distance. but it was better than not shooting.

the real report will follow on sunday after the langhorne practical rifle shoot.
the proposed course of fire includes several longer distance shots as well as various cqb scenarios.
