    Default Inexpensive .22 rifle?

Hey guys its been a while since i posted i recently got my girlfreind into shooting.
she enjoys hand guns but i would like to get here into shooting long guns she thoroughly enjoys my friends AR and my 10/22 but i wanna get her something for her birthday that is a 22.
she like bolt actions or semi auto and she likes synthetic. I am looking for something under 200 it just a fun plinker so it does not have to be anything special..

also she is a shorter girl so i need something that is pretty small with a relatively short stock?

    thanks in advance guys!

I think you can get a Mossberg Plinkster or Remington 597 for right around $100. I'd suggest spending a bit more and getting a 10/22.

For your money's worth I would recommend a CZ 452, but at $300+ it is out of your price range, but its worth every penny and a lot more.

Secondly I would recommend a Savage MKIIF AT. It has an AccuTrigger and is blued no SS like the one in the pic.

The pic is wrong on Buds, but for $173 delivered + $FFL its still a deal.

i have a 10/22 and my dad has a 77/22 the only problem with the 77/22 is that all the synthetic ones dont have sights she wants open sights.

and your right about the 10/22 as the lego rifle lol!

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

Marlin 25N. I picked mine up for $135 (+transfer and tax) a couple months back and have not regretted it one bit. It's an absolutely outstanding gun. It's small, the bolt works great, never given me a single problem, and it's very consistant for being a .22 bolt. I'm a novice shooter, and I'm making 2" groups at 75m.

Marlin Model 60. Legendary for their accuracy, toughness, and being an all around bargain value. Can't hunt with it in PA, though. If you want to hunt, one of their bolts is just as good a deal.

Savage has some under $200, and I've been very pleased with mine (though it cost more than that) and my son's, which didn't.

I dunno if it will matter but a 10.22 isn't legal for hunting in PA (Semi auto rifle).
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.
