Thumbs down Conservative kiosk not allowed at mall

    CONCORD, N.C. -- "Impeach Obama."

    "Al Qaeda's favorite days: 9/11/01 and 11/04/08."

"Work Harder. Obama needs the money."

The bumper stickers and posters sold at "Free Market Warrior" at Concord Mills are meant to be "biting," the kiosk's owner Loren Spivack said.

At least one passerby found them racist and bigoted, and took time to tell the mall in a letter and a letter to the editor of the Charlotte Observer.

Whatever your opinion, the fact is this: At the end of July, Free Market Warrior will not be allowed at Concord Mills Mall. The kiosk chain's owner shared e-mail correspondence with NewsChannel 36 that explains that the mall management has decided that the items sold are not "neutral" enough. The lease will be allowed to expire July 31, 2009 without an option to renew.

Spivack, who first leased the space this spring, says the decision came as a shock to him. He says mall management seemed pleased with the kiosk just a few weeks ago.

Bush was white... its not racist to bash white people, if the mall wouldn't have thrown them out the NAACP and ACORN would have been there protesting them.
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

So-called Conservative politicians are an even bigger threat to their targeted constituencies than are liberal socialists, because they purport to be allies, but are cowards and lickspittles and wind up voting and legislating the same way as any left-wing special interest.

And all this bumper-sticker jingoism doesn't do much but distract people from the fact that our true enemies are already ensconced among us.

This political system is a sham, and this country is finished.

Prepare you and your children for this nation's future breakup into ethno-states... if we're lucky, that is... or barring that, living in one big banana republic, but without bananas.

Back to the bumper stickers, etc, for a moment....

This mall is private property I presume. So if they do not carry/allow things to your liking take your biz elsewhere.... And tell them why

That's interesting considering every time I walk into a bookstore there is a shrine to Obama on a special table. The way it looks, they may as well have candles around it and hymns playing. It's anything but "neutral."

Yeah, I know it's different because it's not a kiosk and it's just their "presidential display" but it irks the crap out of me.

I just don't get why "neutral" doesn't work both ways.

Their mall. They can be as one sided in the political messages they permit as they want.

Our course of action is limited to writing the other merchants in the mall, and letting them know we will take our money elsewhere, since their mall has chosen to become a propaganda arm for one political ideology.

Well said. Neutral means nothing when neither end point of the scale includes your views.

Typical race bullshit. black person dosnt like what the white man does and they get uppity and complain. of course we cant have that going on so the business owner caves and a person who has every right to sell these products has to move on.

A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.

Maybe a few hundred letters from people that support the kiosk owner would be in order.

If we all tell the mall owner we will no longer be shopping at the mall because of his decision to not renew a lease of a business that seemed to doing well, maybe he will reconsider.
