    Default Recommend an ankle-carry gun

Title says it all. I don't need comments on how "tacticooly sound" ankle carry is.

    I'm leaning towards a revolver.

Price isn't that important but price-performance/value matters to me.

Also this will mainly be worn with khaki's/dress pants.

I have no advice for a revolver but if you look in the semi-auto market I cannot stop raving about my Keltec p3at with crimson trace laser grips. The laser has really quickened and extended the range at which I can accurately hit COM. I love it. Then again I know a guy who swears by ankle carrying his Glock23 (? the subcompact .40sw), don't have a clue how he does it though.

Forget why ankle carry, what's important is why you hate your Glock.

For me I like the air lite alloy Smith & Wessons J frames. But lately I've been packing my Walther PPK in there.

I hate my glock for the same reason I like it. I can't do anything to it. I'm a tinkerer at heart and I just can't meddle with a glock. It's like buying a coloring book with everything already colored. There's practically nothing to do to it.

I blame my parents for buying me legos as a kid.

Make sure you get a quality holster to go with the handgun.
Anyway, I'd suggest a Ruger LCP...lighter then any lightweight snubby I own.
If you're set on a revolver, take a look at the Taurus 85's that have the aluminum frame and titanium cylinder. I have no experience with one, but the Ruger LCR would be worth a look too.

I would recommend the S&W Airweight 642 Centennial .38 special. Light and hammerless revolver.

I carry a Kahr P9 Covert in a couple different ankle rigs.

The one I use primarily is the DeSantis Apache.
The velcro holds it in place above my work boot even when I have to run a bit.

Down side is it moves too much with low shoes/ tennis shoes.

Lou Alessi makes an really good ankle rig and I use this one when i'm not working.

The P9 Covert is no longer made as the PM9 (3" bbl)took over that niche.
The P9 has a 3 1/2" bbl with a grip length the same as the PM9 which makes it an ideal ankle /pocket gun. For pocket carry, I use a Kytac pockit lockit

and also carry it IWB in a Mitch Rosen Express Line.

The flush fit mag (6) + 1 makes it very concealable. The regular mag is a 7 round mag and I carry 2 of these comfortably in my front jeans pocket.

S&W 340 PD. Scandium alloy and titanium weighing in at 12oz and 5 shots of .357Mag goodness.

This gun is affectionately known at the local shop as the LBB (Little Black Bastard). It is not something you would want to shoot at the range, save to make sure you can handle it. The light weight makes it easy to carry, but there is no mass to deal with the recoil. It is a snappy SOB providing a significant recoil therapy experience
