Mike Fitzhenry: You want more gun control?

I feel that Mike's project needs it's own recognition [and why doesn't he have a username here so I can Rep him?]

After reading his blog, I'd also like to see the outcome of this project.
Kudos to him and to pghplr as I'm sure Dad had some influence on Mikes logical understanding of the world!

Actually, this is pretty much just him doing this project. He knows my stance on the subject but hasn't really gotten me involved at all.
I didn't try to talk him into or out of this subject as a project but did tell him his position on it probably isn't that of the school nor his teacher who will be grading it. He didn't care! Thats my boy.

There's a long way to go but he's on the right track.

agreed... I saw the link on the Mtn Jack thread, & added it to my favs after checking it out. Got a good kid there! Maybe if his teacher is not a 2A supporter now, after reading the paper he or she will be forced to think & possibly see the light. Could end up educating an educator.
