Default First day carrying... (/new LTCF)

Just a thanks to all the regulars here, in the last month I've garnered TONS of good information and today I received my LTCF from Mongtomgery County.

Overall it was pretty painless, only 11 days from when I first picked up my check card to LTCF in hand.

    Thanks again, stay safe.

Congrats , I had mine within 3 days. I dropped off my check card with local pd on Friday evening , they (local PD) delivered it to my house on Monday afternoon and Tuesday I got to the courthouse too late but they had it ready for me when i got there Wednesday to pay and get my pic. Other than the drive from FT Indiantown Gap to Norristown 2 days in a row , it was painless.

Well I had a fabulous first day of concealed carry, not a hitch in the world.

My glock 26 in a pocket holster tucks into my waistband very nicely and is held quite secure by my belt. I carried like that walking around doing errands and then it slipped nicely into my pocket while I worked.

People that I've seen every day for 4 years didn't notice a thing. I'm betting my gf doesn't notice when I go out with her for the first time tonight carrying. I'm even going to..... a mall.

And yes... there was one in the chamber.

that's the point of it being concealed..no1 should know about it.

congrats on your LTCF.....Delaware County takes all of its allowed time to usually mail out the acceptance form!

Well I'm 5'6 and the G26 is pretty big for a pocket gun, so I was happy. There's a definite lump in my pocket, but most would probably assume its a wallet.

That stinks, I just called Norristown and they said we got your check card... I went down, handed in my app, 20min later walked out with the license.

I'm 6'2 and can conceal a full size S&W M&P in my pocket inside a serpa belt holster with the belt attachment still screwed onto the holster itself.
