LTCF... Refrences/Employer
For those that have their LTCF, do you know whether your employer or listed references were contacted? I'm not crazy about my boss.
I'm a full time student but part time waiter, think I could get away without listing my employer on my LTCF application, just listing myself as "Student" under occupation?

Re: LTCF... Refrences/Employer
My references were never contacted. I have no idea if my employer was ever contacted. They never said anything to me about it if they were. I do wonder how the police handle an interview call with one's employer, though -- what details they provide about the reason for the call, what questions they ask, etc.

Re: LTCF... Refrences/Employer
Its been stated here...that they cant legally contact your employer...
I list my employer company...but then put MY extension # on the form. They've never called me...

Re: LTCF... Refrences/Employer
I have never had anyone contacted and i've had mine since the late 80's.
Also, don't list your employer (it's only a part time gig) and if they ask tell them you are a full time student.

Re: LTCF... Refrences/Employer
I had one of mine contacted, but it was probably just to see if I was being serious. I had the Mayor of Reading and the retired chief of the Reading PD as refs. They actually called the Mayor on his direct line in his office. I guess they figured if I know the mayor its not unbelievable that I know the retired chief of the PD lol.
Please help my Baby Kitties and I avoid being homeless.

Re: LTCF... Refrences/Employer
If you're a full-time student, then ignore any references to part-time jobs. To do otherwise would be similar to someone asking you where you live, and you proceed to tell them about all the different hotels/vacation spots you spent time at last year.

Neither my refrences or employer was contacted by Philly.
And one of my refrences was my supervisor at work. . .
