    Default Got my grail S&W!

After some searching, I found what I consider to be my S&W grail gun - a blued model 27-2 with a 3.5" barrel. This gun was made in early 1966 and has the 3 T's (target hammer, target trigger, target grips) and came with the original box.

I don't think these are the original target grips that came with the gun (they should have a diamond around the grip screw) but I've got a line on a period correct pair.

The gun is in very good condition, but not so perfect that I won't shoot it. If you've never shot an N-frame .357magnum and get the chance, do yourself a favor and try one. I guarantee you'll be addicted

together with my 27-2 3.5" Nickel

You are a blessed man! To me the 3 1/2 N-frame is the most business looking wheel gun there is. They would both kick a$$ with Keith Brown Ropers.

I haven't had the chance to get to the range yet. I'm hoping to go sometime this week.

I haven't had time to make to rounds lately. I have people out on vacation at work so it's hard to sneak out.
I found it on the Colt Forum classifieds. It came from Ohio.
