YHM Phantom QD comp
Is anyone here using the YHM 556 Phantom QD comp? If so how do you like it? I'm thinking this will be the best one for me to use on my AR build I'm working on. I gather some issues with comps are noise, side blast, and recoil management and I'm wondering how it does. I'm wanting a good comp––not flash hider due that it's going to be used at least half the time in NYS and no flash hider is a stipulation–– that'll accept a can and that one seems to be one of the few options I have. Any thoughts?

Bump
I did a search and this is the only post that hit on the YHM Phantom QD 556... I was wondering if anyone else had any information/opinions on it?
ETA: I know this is in the wrong forum, so if a mod could move it to the NFA section or firearms section... thanks!Last edited by NikeBauer21; March 2nd, 2010 at 09:30 AM.

Re: YHM Phantom QD comp
I was using the standard flash hider and then switch to the Primary Weapons Systems FSC556 which I like a little better.
I know this does not really answer you question directly but I thought I would chime in. Not sure if it is New York legal either.

Re: YHM Phantom QD comp
I have both versions of it (original and stainless). Excellent value, good sound dampening, a bit on the heavy side (though if you want a light can, you'll pay 2x-3x more).
