I just wrote a letter to the editor asking for them to correct the innacurate information.

So did I. It's ironic that the phrase before their false statement is "Despite inaccurate statistics thrown around by the National Rifle Association and it’s supporters..."

It may be the first state to actually legislate that CC is OK in a bar. All the ones I have ever looked at have either legislated that you must OC, or that you can not carry, or they just allow it(like in Pa.) by not legislating it as a prohibited place... I have not read every states laws though so IDK, but like I said, seems like it may be a technically accurate claim....

Arizona just passed a law and you can now carry in places that serve alcohol

DE has no law restricting the carrying of firearms in bars either.

OK to OC or CC.

I think the distinction is the words 'put into law'. Many states have nothing on the books prohibiting the carrying, ie legal.
