Default "She's so fine my 229" Have to share

Over the course of our materialistic civilization the question has been posed, "Can you really love an inanimate object"?
The answer is yes, especially if that object is a brand new Sig Sauer P229 Elite.
Sorry for the corny title but I'm excited.
I just picked up my brand new Sig P229 Elite and boy is it pretty.

I've been selling off all cars and my prized Triumph. So I decided to get the one pistol I wanted money no object.
I can't wait to take it to the range to start breaking it in, I might even go tonight.

I got it at Tanners and I have to give them a thumbs up, great price really helpful when I was looking at rifles and just plain helpful.

A special thanks to all who helped me make my mind up in my other post.
    And you were right 1blindref.

You're still on a blind date. Wait 'til you pull the trigger! I love the way they handle.

You are going to love that 229. By the way what caliber did you get, if it's the 40 look in to getting the 357sig barrel.

The one I tried was a .40. The trigger pull was smooth in DA, and nice and light in SA. It surprised me a little the first time, as I was used to a DAO. The accuracy impressed me. It shot better than I could at the time.

Hell yeah man! Sigs are amazing pieces of machinery. I own 3 (P226, P226 Combat, and P239). I have put at least 1500 rounds through each one (more than 2500 through my regular P226), without a single hiccup or problem, no FTF's or FTE's.

I have to give it up to Sig Sauer. Every single Sig that i've shot has worked flawlessly. They feel great in my hands, are just as reliable if not more than any other handgun out there, and are very durable. I cant ask for anything more.

Your P229 is beautiful! I love the wood grips on the Elites. Very classy.

Congrats, and have fun with your new Sig!
