Default Price check: S&W 686 Plus

Saw a NIB S&W 686 Plus (7 shots of .357 goodness) with 3-in. barrel for around $700 at a gunshop yesterday -- is that a good deal?

I sold my 686-4 Plus 2 1/2 in. no lock for $700 shipped. It was LNIB.
I personally would not spend that much on a "lock" gun. JMO.

The Price on Smiths is busting through the roof , i had my eye on a nice 686 2,5 inch bbl, it was $629, now its $869, same dealer had a model 57 for $628 now its over $800.

I'm not paying that for them . Sorry.
