338Winmag wussed out because he was scared of getting a little wet.

Was a fun hike, though a little longer than the proposed 8 miles (think we got around 10-12). Trail was beautiful, and the weather for the hike in was perfect.

Unfortunately, an hour or two after we made camp, it started to rain. Two hours later we packed it in and walked out to the road for a pickup.

Met some odd folks, and a bunch of neat people who were also out on the trail. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a date with a vat of Ben-gay.
