Default A little trigger pull gauge fun Lyman gauge vs some of the pistols in my safe

Yesterday I picked up a digital lyman gauge, And I decided to try it out on a few of my pistols. There were a couple of surprises.

Tests 10 pull average, measuring from the center of the trigger.

1- 1960's Colt Detective (round count unknown)
SA 4 lbs 13 oz average
DA 9 lb 4 oz average

    2- Kahr PM9 (200 rounds or so)
    DAO 6lbs 2oz average

    3- Glock 29 (about 300 rounds on a 3.5 lb connector)
Safe action 6 lbs 5oz This was a surprise Guessing glock measures from the tip rather than the actual middle.

4- Kimber compact stainless (Several thousand rounds)
    SAO 4 lbs 11oz

5- Para p18 (750 rounds, trigger job by Pa Patriot)
SAO 4 lbs 7oz Right where I wanted it! thanks Rich!

    SAO(5lbs 03oz)

    7- Taurus pt1911 stainless(About 500 rds)
    SAO 6lbs 01oz

    10 S&W M29 bounty hunter.
SA 4lbs 09oz post trigger job 03 lb 06 oz
DA Unknown.(All exceeded the 12lb max on gauge) Post trigger job 08 lbs 04oz

    11 Baby Browning SAO 4lbs 03 oz

12 Beretta 21 Bobcat 22lr Round count unknown
    DA 7lbs 9oz
    SA 3lbs 2.9oz

    13 S&W 25-2 45acp Custom (possible Jovino)
    DA 10lbs 2oz
    SA 4lbs 3oz

    14 Sig p229 40/357
    DA 8 lbs 14 oz
    SA 4 lbs 01 oz

    15 Kimber Ultra CDP II
    SA 4lbs 08 oz

    16 Sig P229 DAK SAS 40 s&W
    DA 7 lbs 14 oz

17 Glock 23 40 S&W ghost rocket, and lightning strike trigger.
    4 lbs 4 oz

    18 Keltec pf9 9mm
    6lbs 04 oz

    19 XD45 Tactical
    5lbs 07 oz

    20 S&W model 10-7
    DA 9lbs 02 oz
    SA 2lbs 09 oz

    21 Kel-Tec p-11
    DAO 9lbs 10 oz

    22 Les Baer Thunder Ranch
    Sa 3lbs 15 oz

More tests when I have time.

Totally unscientific, but a lot of fun.

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

Better than my Seecamp 32. Its a tank, but it goes bang reliably so far.

Its a proven design called the KEVIN. Magnum Research licensed it at made em here.

I'm looking at that Micro Eagle closely. Why do you like it better then your Seecamp .32?
