Carrying to Concert in Philly - Festival Pier
Ok... I'm planning on going to a concert this summer down at Penn's Landing's Festival Pier.
Has anyone been there for a major concert before (I think Electic Factory is the promoter)?
Are attendees searched? I know that attendees are searched at a FEW events during the year at Great Plaza.. but I'm not sure how a Concert at Festival Pier works.
Are firearms prohibited? - I don't have a ticket (yet) so I can't read the contract on the ticket... but Penn's Landing's webpage doesn't talk about weapons.
Something about attending a concert at night in Philly makes me want to be able to defend myself... maybe I'm just silly.

Re: Carrying to Concert in Philly - Festival Pier
Ok... the event is a little closer, and Festival Pier is open for the summer now.
The language on the ticket seems to be for New York Yankees Baseball (I love ticketmaster)... and even that doesn't talk about weapons.
Anyone have any words of wisdom?
Do they pat-down?
