Question AR adjustable gas block Q's

Looking for info about the adjustable gas blocks like JP and Noveske sell.

I have a RRA M4 with a freefloat rail system that I picked up an Advanced Armament M4-2000 suppressor for. I would really like the ability to turn off the gas system to keep the bolt from cycling without requiring an allen wrench to close the port on the JP block.

Currently the Noveske setup is not being sold seperate from their uppers. I do have an email out to them to see if they have plans to sell the parts seperately.

Does anyone know of a company that makes a block with or without a rail on it that can be user installed and also allows you to adjust or close the port without tools?

    No.

But I would wait for a reply from Noveske because a good friend has just been field testing that unit and was very much impressed with it.

There is a company that makes the gas blocks for Noveske uppers. I tried to find their site again, but it was more than a week ago, and is now lumped in with hundreds of other pages in my browser history.

Use your Google Fu to search "Noveske gas lock," or "We make the Noveske gas blocks.," and you might come up with something.

TonyF if your buddy hears anything about when its going to hit the market could you post it up. I really like the design and it will do exactly what I am looking for.

Suburban I tried the google idea with no luck. I seem to find only regular gas blocks or the noveske site but not the actual manufacturer. Guess I'll keep trying and see if I can find the secret combination.

    I found it.

    Vltor low-profile gas block

I don't know if they make the adjustable one. All Vltor shows on the website is that one, and one with a flip-up front sight.

    Suburban thanks for the help.

I got an email back from Noveske:

We do have plans to offer this as a separate item in the very near future, before Aug, keep an eye on the web site.
