I was showing my mother my ammo storage, and after she sees all of the ammo she asked me: where are the handguns?

I was like: I gotz no handgunz

Dont try to sneak one past your mother, be patient and in time she will see through to letting you have ammo. Maybe use some powers of persuasion like mentioning some of the events in the news.

Why risk your mothers trust just to keep .22 ammo in the house??

How does she feel about slingshots.....I'm fairly sure that no one has come out with any .22 hp manstoppers any time recently.....

I am glad you convinced her about the gun. Now is the time to RESPECT her wishes and keep the ammo elsewhere. In time maybe she will come around after she sees how you handle the gun issue. JMHO
