Machine Shop
Alright I'm doing some gas system work on my Saiga-12 shotgun. After breaking one of my punches I've come to the idea that maybe I should be using a little better setup than what I have here.
What the issues is is punching out two pins and moving a gas block. I've done this before on another gun but not mine so these pins have been in the gun since about 2001 or so. Needless to say they are tight.
Anybody got a garage/shop with a vise, workbench and some spare time? A hand sledge would be nice and maybe some punches around the 1/8" size.
Pictures to follow of the gas block (Block is approximately 1 3/4" x 2" x 7/8")

I have one of the pins started, but then the punch broke on me. The whole block will have to move to the right from this picture. The resident Saiga snob
