Looking for a contact
Hey Folks, I was talking with a vendor at the Harrisburg Gunshow, who made mention of a custom nylon holster manufacturer here in PA. I've emailed the guy (who said about it) but he hasn't gotten back with me. Anyone know who he may be talking about?

Nylon? Are you looking for a custom soft sided holster? Or are you looking more for a rigid holster? Is it for OC or CC? IWB/OWB? Maybe if you explain what you are looking for we can point you in the right direction.
I know Raven Concealment does custom Kydex holsters. They are freaking sweet.

Re: Looking for a contact
Thanks no, I have a sweet little Com-Tac Minotaur, that's a great hybrid, and I use that for most application. What I'm looking for is a nylon version of the M7 chest holster. Unlike many holsters, this isn't under the arm, it's not horizontal or vertical, but has a slight cant, and is on the chest. The straps of the issue version are adjustable enough to fit over top a flack vest, or cinch down tight enough over top a t-shirt. I would go with an M7, but being leather, they aren't fast drying, and in some of the places I'm thinking of, well, that would be a bad thing. I'd also like to change the retention strap, to make it a thumb break, and since nylon isn't as stiff as leather, I would see a need for reinforcement of the upper 'lip' of the holster for one handed reholstering.
As I see it, this could then be a good universal holster, both CC and OC capability. While I didn't want to go into so much detail in open forum, I recon it was necessary.
