    Default Dumb question...

Now I know that with a LTCF I can carry a pistol, revolver, SBS, or SBR.. But, would it also include AOW's? Legally they are different beasts from the mentioned items, and the UFA does only mention those items specifically.

I stand the good chance of inheriting a AOW in the near future due someone I know is near the end point in their life. The item is lawfully registered and has he has the proper paperwork. I'm named in the will to receive said item. The transfer and such is not in question, thats all straight forward.. ...Its just that the item is a rather interesting piece that would be perfect for CCW duties.

Been following that thread since it's beginning. lol No info on AOW's. Fed's classify then separately, but PA doesn't - no recognition of them. In some cases, an AOW could be viewed as a pistol or in other cases as a shortbarreled shotgun depend on design.

The one I will inherit someday is smoothbore, and is chambered in 45LC/410ga. Was a custom creation, legally registered.
