Manheim Sportsman Association
Hey, if anyone could help me out, that'd be great.
I was able to try out and see the ranges at Mount Joy Sportsmans Association thanks to a very helpful forum member here, and was going to sign up there, but also saw that Manheim Sportsmans Association had an indoor pistol range (what I am looking for).
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how that range is, for both long range shooting and pistol/shotgun shooting? If anyone shot at both to compare that would even be better.
I want something that I can target shoot with my .308 bolt action, as well as pistol shoot, but also have an indoor range for the winter months or the rainy days. It seems that both Mount Joy and Manheim offers this, so now I need to narrow it down, and if anyone shot at
Even better, if you are allowed to bring guests, if anyone would be willing to let me come and shoot there, to see how it looks, etc., that would even be better.
Thanks!

Me too! Would you want to do a Tuesday/Indoor Pistol Day? If so, Sept. 8 would be great.
Plus, we can go over the sharpening thing... again.

Actually, if it's going to be a Tuesday, Sept. 22 would be better for me. Training at work on the 8th.

I heard the indoor pistol range rules have changed - they no longer limit the type of ammo used? Is that true?

Re: Manheim Sportsman Association
i'd love to know about this as well. i've been looking at joining somewhere and i've been leaning towards palmyra since they have a 24hr indoor range with no ammo restrictions. the drive will suck but its worth it given everything they have.
but if mt joy doesn't have ammo restrictions i'd be interested again.

I don't believe so. But again I've only been there as a guest. Maybe a member can chime in.
