Ruger for $150 , worth it ?
THe shop that i frequent has a Ruger .22 for sale for $150 , its look good , no scratches, but the Bluing is a little faded, the wood grips are in excellent shape , barrel looks decent, 4 inch skinny barrel perfect as a woods gun , to just throw it in the pocket when youre out walking in the woods or riding your ATV.
Do you think its worth 150 buckaroos?
Looks like it were made between 1960 to 68

If you don't grab it, let me know where it is and I'll buy it.

If it's functional, heck yes!
What kind is it? Semi auto, single action revolver? Is it a quite small single action revolver, the Bearcat?"Never give up, never surrender!" Commander Peter Quincy Taggart

Re: Ruger for $150 , worth it ?
Get it!!!
Last year I picked up a Mark I 6.75" barrel at my local shop for $130.
Shot it for function, cleaned it and now it's in my BOB, as I have a Mark III 22/45 as my plinking gun.
I'd pick them up all day long for < $150, as they are great pistols.
Now if I could only find replacement grips for the Mark I.
The one's on it are carved wooden with a thumb rest, which I'm just not crazt about.

For grips, you may want to go to www.rugerforum.com and check their classifieds. There are also other grip makers that make them for the MKI. Ruger semi's are well built, solid performers. $150 is a good price.
