Shotguns at bowmanstown (even slugs?)
I've been a member for like two years now. I am wondering, am I allowed to shoot shotguns, even just slugs at the ranges? Is there a range rule book? I have ask next I am there, I never got one.
Thanks

Re: Shotguns at bowmanstown (even slugs?)
I just shot a Moss there the other day, as i was told by a club official, "shoot whatever you want, just no bazookas or anything like that". We've been doing group shoots lately, if you want, i can tell you next time i'll be there.

Re: Shotguns at bowmanstown (even slugs?)
awesome on both accounts!
I'd sure love to meet some local people, I live out in the sticks here for a year now and usually travel to play lots of paintball and rarely meet locals to shoot with. I'm mostly shooting rimfire right now due to ammo cost, but am thinking about pickingup a new shotgun to get some well, recoil out of, since you can still buy ammo easily.
So is it just slugs or shot is ok? I certainly wouldn't be tearing up target stands with them, since that is not nice.
Thanks!

You can shoot whatever you want. As long as you're a member, they really dont care.(No full autos obviously). I will def. let you know next time we're getting together. Anyone else who is a member of Bowmanstown is also more than welcomed to join us too!

Re: Shotguns at bowmanstown (even slugs?)
I wanted to go, but we had a tragedy last week of two injuries and a car destroyed (a week old car) so as much as I'd love to blow some steam and smell some powder, I felt it was best to care for the family and not leave just yet........

From what I know you can shoot slugs in the Rifle range and shot in the pistol/shotgun range.
The also have a black powder only range.
Members only may shoot at Bowmans

I KNOW the rifle range says No Shotguns. I'm not a member, so, of course I've never been there or shot there, at either rifle or pistol ranges.
