Default Aluminum case ammo - ok in Glocks?

I tested a few different brands of ammo in the Glock 19 I'm borrowing from a friend, and my favorite by far was the cheapest I tried - CCI Blazer with an aluminum case. Very accurate, light recoil, shoots clean. Is there any issue using aluminum case ammo in a Glock? At $9 a box, it's a great choice!

I never had a problem with it in any of the Glocks I've shot, nor any other gun for that matter.

    Shoot and be happy.

I wouldn't think so, the major concerns for the Glock are reloads, and lead bullets, and those are neither......

Glock Pistols.......So simple a Caveman could fix them!

I shoot alot of 9mm Blazer out of my G17. Never had an issue. Also, no mention was made of any kind at armorer's school. As mentioned above, no reloads and no lead - only jacketed ammo.

Only the government-and a few outlaws. I intend to be among the outlaws." (Edward Abbey, "The Right to Arms," Abbey's Road [New York, 1979])
I have my rifle. Do you?

I never understood the "no reloads" thing. Other than the fact that manufacturer says it to cover their ass, that is.

Brass gets work-hardened upon use. With an unsupported chamber like the Glock has, at the pressures the 9mm runs at, you run a greater chance of a KB.

All manufactures have statements against handloads because of liabilities and the potential for a miss-loading.

I've used it my G23 and G30SF with no issues at all.

My 26 came with aluminum cases from the factory. If they run it through the gun you should be fine.

You can also get Blazer Brass 9mm for around $9/box, if you can find it in stock.
I've never shot aluminum through my Glock, but have shot Wolf with zero problems. It's much more dirty and has more recoil, but it's fine for paper punching.

    Really?
    That seems odd.
Was it recently purchased when the "ammo shortage" was at it's peak? (we all hope)

I remember buying a new Glock a few years ago and the case from the test cartridge in the case was aluminum, now that I think about it.
