Shell gas station owner on 715 Shot during robbery
http://www.poconorecord.com/apps/pbc.../NEWS/90616001
It's a shame. I've been going in there since I was 5 years old. The owners have always been very kind to me. Never said a thing about my open carrying. It's a shame. He needs to be armed when he gets back on his feet. I wish him luck. The area is going downhill but then again we already know this. I guess we're ahead of the game because we're armed, but that doesnt mean we shouldn't have compassion for people who are just trying to work hard and live their life.

Always sad to hear about working people getting shot and robbed. I fear more of these stories as times get worse.

Yup, even the nicer areas are hitting the shitter now. I go there all the time, very nice people and one of my best friends lives right around the corner from that place.

Re: Shell gas station owner on 715 Shot during robbery
This article caught my attention due to the fact it is not far from where I live. I don't know the owners and have never been in their store yet feel deeply for them as they are probably just ordinary folks working day to day to make ends meet. I was raised in a retail family and in this day and age I can't think why anyone operating a cash register would not want to have a gun handy.
Think about the scum that would perpetrate this type of crime. Essentially we are talking about a burglary (if I understand the report correctly) and these scumbags carried a gun while they committed the crime. How much money did they think they would get away with?......and for this they would use lethal force.
I deduce from this that we are likely to be seeing a lot more of this type of action even out in the country.
BE PREPARED PEOPLE!
be aware.
always have a plan B.
and remember that two guns are better than one.

"Wasn`t it Nevil`s Nibbles Ice Cream stand then?"
Yes it was Nevils and it was when I moved into the area fifteen years ago. Its been a Shell station about ten years and it changed hands about four or five years ago.

Yup it use to be an ice cream stand before the Pocono's became the Bronx West. Actually I was in the region this past weekend and drove right past it.
I hope the owner has a speedy recovery.FUCK BIDEN

It wasn't until I saw it on the news last night that I realized what station this is. I remember when they were building that station.
