It's a Beretta - it should be fine.

I have no first hand knowledge of that model but i do own a Beretta 950 bs in .25. It shoots fine but it is a little tiny.

Are you looking for a target gun for her or a pocket carry gun? If for target shooting i'd look at something a little bigger - like a Ruger Mark I II III. But they are gonna set you back $400 +.

I owned one years ago. It was somewhat picky with ammo, but that can vary from gun to gun. It was very easy to carry in a pocket, although I would not want to rely on it to protect me. Accuracy? You are going to have a barrel, that if I recall correctly, is about 1 3/4" long. It will not be a good range or plinking gun. It is easy to load, with the tip up barrel.

It is a nice compact pistol that is ideal for concealment, but underpowered for defense. It will probably do no good for either of you when it comes to improving your marksmanship. I would probably not make this or ones like it my first choice of pistol.

Christina should be able to handle the grips on a Smith and Wesson 22A, and you can get a brand new one for around $250 or so. It ain't much for carry, but they go bang on a regular basis. Mine eats anything I put in it so far, and it is pretty accurate.

My daughter just bought a Beretta U-22 Neos. Inexpensive, smooth my daughter loves it. She got the 41/2" barrel instead of the 6".

yeah, I also been looking into them, too..they're more available than the Ruger MK's and the Browning Buckmark...they're just so damn ugly. haha

My Bobcat shoots just fine, although it isn't the .22 model - mine is the .25acp. No jams, FTF, FTE, no problems of any sort.

Pretty accurate for a little gun with fixed sights.

I've been waiting a good long while for Bud's to have PT-22s in stock. Now that they finally have some, I don't have any dinero. Some luck, eh?

Mine has been flawless from Day one, but i found out it shooots the CCI quick shock ammo the most accurate.

Just point it and shoot Bullseye, I have the Inox model well made little gun.

I also have a Neos, sweet gun , and even more accurate if you thin down the thick front sight.
I have the 4 1/2 inch barrel, very well balanced.
