    Default Llama 32 cal

Anyone a Llama expert or know more than I do ? I have always liked the Llama "mini 1911" style, and finally bought one the other day - waiting for it to arrive. It was advertised as a IIIA in 32 cal, but I believe it is really an XA. I bought because I had never seen a dual tone one before. It is steel frame and blued slide. I have not been able to find any info. on the dual tone one - any thoughts.
    Thanks
    Steve

My cousin were shot in the back of the head at point blank range with one of these.

Nice Guns, fit the hand well and point well like a 1911.

If its a duo-tone it should be an XA model most of which were made in late seventies early 80's. Most have problems with hp ammo.

Thanks for the info., sorry about your cousin ! I had been looking for a Llama for a while, just never saw one in dual tone. I will stick to non-hollow point ammo I guess ! If anyone has any other info. on the gun, I would appreciate it.
    Thanks

I have never seen a duotone in person , but if you look in Gun Digests from late 70's to 80's you might come accross a Picture of one.

I saw a stainless (or chromed?) one fully engraved, beutiful pistol.

I wanted my wife to want it, when i showed her the pics her eyes lit up a little.

    then she asked "what caliber"
    ".32"
"oh,...... well what the fuck would i do with that"

I got a mini-max 45, and that's all I know about'em. It was cheap, but I just couldn't put it down after I handled it.

Finally got to take my new Llama xa 32 cal to the range, all I can say is "sweet". For all those that trash Llama, you're nuts - what a nice gun. Super tight, well built, and first time shooting grouped 2" at 15 yards - not too shabby for an amateur. As far as not having enough bang for your gf - take one out and shoot it, I was very surprised at the bark this little gun had. Just might be my new carry gun
