    Delaware Homeowner Subdues Burglar
    BEAR, Del. (CBS 3) ―

A homeowner in New Castle County subdued an intruder who broke into his home during the early morning hours Thursday.

Police say Brian Gallagher, 22, was arrested and charged with burglary after being caught in the act burglarizing a home in Bear on Thursday.

The male homeowner was awakened to the sound of footsteps in an upstairs area of the home. When he went to check on his wife and child sleeping in the mater bedroom, he found the male suspect crawling around on the floor in the room.

The homeowner punched the suspect and immobilized him until police came.

Gallagher is being held by New Castle County Police awaiting arraignment. Police say further investigation revealed he is wanted in connection to six other crimes in Kent County.

Yeah that guy got luck! Not many people on this forum would have let him off that easy! I know I wouldn't have.
