RECOIL SPRING
Hello PAFOA,
Does anyone know if there is such a tool as a recoil spring compressor? I just spent 2 hours and some of the most eloquent language I learned on the Newark docks reinstalling a recoil spring and guide rod in a just-cleaned Kahr. The demonstrator on the YouTube video looks like he's using a 6 pound spring. After cleaning the XD 40, I reassembled it in about 40 seconds. I like this Kahr, but it's a real pain to reassemble.

Re: RECOIL SPRING
It's not a matter about compressing the spring. The guide rod must be put in just right on the install. The disassembly and reassembly of the Kahrs are a little different, but with some practice it becomes much easier.
