Pickerel Inn in Dingman's Ferry
I stopped by Pickerel Inn on Rt.402 in Dingmans this morning to look at some pistols I can't afford to buy. They had WWB 100 rnd .38 Special, Federal 9mm and .357 mag, and they had at least a dozen boxes of .32 Auto but I don't remember what brand.

Re: Pickerel Inn in Dingman's Ferry
hows their prices on ammo tho?
Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets.

Re: Pickerel Inn in Dingman's Ferry
I bought a 50-round box of American Eagle .357 Magnum JSP for ~$32. That's about the average price I've seen it for online, but keep in mind I'm new to shooting and don't know what pre-ammo scare prices were like.
I didn't take note of other calibers' prices since Larry marks the box tops, not the shelves."I really have the American dream licked." -- Ted Nugent

Re: Pickerel Inn in Dingman's Ferry
Just got home from Pickerel, got the last box of Gold Dot .357 mag, 20 rds for $32. Ouch., Had some ammo, which is more than some shops have now. The lady working there said that their ammo orders are starting to come in, hope to have more soon.
As of when I left the store, one more box of AE .357 JSP, had .38sp WWB, .40 S&W AE, I believe that they had 9mm WWB. .32 auto, a box of .32 S&W longs, and some other assorted calibers.
BTW, they have some nice holsters in there.
Once again, a thanks to heavyjay for posting that they had ammo in stock.
And a nice little Colt Pocket Positive for a decent price that wanted to follow me home, but I had to console myself with the ammo.Last edited by gf45acp; June 7th, 2009 at 12:46 PM. Reason: sp

Gotta love the Pickrel Inn.
We have a cabin off of 402 and we never go to stay there without stopping at the Pickrel inn and also to see Roger up the road a piece.
Any of you guys remember when the Inn at Pecks pond was called the Lucky dot? Had a lot of good times there.

Re: Pickerel Inn in Dingman's Ferry
Agreed, the prices are the going numbers now day. I'm just an old shooter, I can fondly remember the time of $3.50 boxes of 9mm and .38special, $7.50 for .45acp and such. Ah, I'm gettin nostalgic.
