Default private transfer of handgun to person under 21?

From what I understand, there's no law against owning a handgun if you're between the ages of 18 and 21; but you can't purchase one from an FFL unless you're 21 or over.

What about the sale transfer paper you have to fill out at an FFL for a private handgun transfer? Does that form prohibit the transfer of a handgun to a person under 21? Just wondering.

FFLS cannot transfer a handgun to anyone under 21, issue here is all PA transfers on handguns must be done thru a FFL...

EXCEPT if the firearm is a gift between mother/father to son/daughter if both reside in PA...no FFL needed.

So parent to child is ok, and back, provided both partes aren't prohibited, but sibling to sibling gifts must still go thru a FFL.

Handgun transfers can be done at a Sheriff's office too for transfers to those who aren't direct relatives.

The Sheriff's call to the Instant Check doesn't require them to add a firearm to a bound book(reason why FFL's can only transfer to <21)

did this about 5 times before turning 21. Transfer to my father, "gifted" to me.
