    Default Do they wand/metal detector @ Croc Rock in Allentown?

    I was wondering because some friends are going to a show tonight there and I've never been before. I told them find out if they wand or not because I can't go to Allentown if I'm not carrying. Anyone know if they wand there?

    They didn't when I was there, but that was in 06, so your mileage may vary.

    No but it`s a dump. Last time I was there my sneakers kept sticking to the sticky floor and it was 100 degrees.

    Wow, place must have gone downhill big time. Last time we were there (must have been 6 years ago) it was pretty nice.

    Agreed. I haven't been there in a few years either but I heard it started to get shitty. That whole area over there used to be pretty decent for bars.
    A couple friends of mine stopped going to see bands there cuz as they said " its complete torture". They told me, as stated earlier , it gets super hot in there and they pack so many ppl in if its a good band that you can't move, get a drink, or go to the bathroom.
    Goodluck, hopefully its not that bad. And FWIW, I don't remember them even patting ppl down..... But that was a while ago and if they have had trouble they might be doing it now....

    Area getting bad?!?! The BlockBuster out on Tilghman/CedarCrest was robbed last night while it was open.... Man, that city is REALLY going to shit in a hurry... Too bad, I kinda like A-town. For as much as I can tolerate a city anyways.

    Heck they just found a body a couple blocks away two weeks ago near Sacred Heart Hospital.

    Wow. That's some serious rigor mortis for a corpse to walk a couple blocks....

    I have a friend who lives a couple blocks away from the BB that was robbed and she mentioned to me again about getting a handgun(she wants to buy my 1911 or one like it...) I should have told her that the candidate she voted for would save her but...instead of being a smart ass, I decided to just be smart(for a change ) and told her I'd forward her some classifieds links...
