First Conceal Carry

Just got my LTCF yesterday 5/29, and CC'd at two Wally Worlds (looking for OD Green paint for my Jeep). I also stopped at both ammo counters, talked to both counter persons, which by the way they didn't have .45's or 9mm's. (figures)

I was a bit nervous about it, because I was carrying my Astra A-75 .45. I was carrying it IWB behind me. I couldn't see if it was printing, but my wife says is wasn't.

I think my next CC will be with my Taurus Millenium PT-111 9mm. It's lighter, and smaller.

Anyway, that was my first experience. All in all, uneventful. Guess I had nothing to be nervous about. LOL

Welcome to the club.

Always remember that you are printing less than you think and playing with it only draws attention to what our obvious public would probably not have noticed anyway.

And hell, even if you do print of accidentally OC for a bit, that's completely legal anyway...

Welcome to the club! You usually don't print as bad as you think you do. Half the public apparently doesn't notice when you OC, they certainly won't notice a little printing when CC. It doesn't matter if they notice the print anyway...

You'll feel a bit paranoid for a while...that'll settle as will the feeling everybody knows you're carrying.
Couple of weeks, your gun won't feel any more alien then the car keys in your pocket.
That doesn't mean to get complacent though...always know where your gun is.
