restrictions on open carry
i asked this question in another thread, but i think it will get more attention in its own thread. are there certain ways one must carry open, for instance, does it have to be on your waist in a duty holster, or can it be in a shoulder holster without a shirt over it (or would your arm be considered concealing it?) or what about a drop-leg....this one is just to know...im not gonna wear a drop leg when open carrying.
also do you think i could wear a bianci m12 for open carry until i get different one?

Re: restrictions on open carry
If you have your LTCF your good no matter what, if you dont. Then I would go with a hip holster OWB. That way no officer can say you were "attempting to conceal" or anything like that.
EDIT: The Bianchi would work just fine

Re: restrictions on open carry
Very simple. Don't cover/conceal it. Ta-Da! Open Carry!
The only regulation is that there's no regulation against it.
Everything else is pretty much just personal interpretation, so if you're willing to give it a try, go for it. Good luck and be safe.
As you're not old enough to carry concealed,(right?) I'm thinking that you may end up with more interesting OC stories than Skuggi!I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

To cover your butt, do everything possible to make sure it is visible. Hip or thigh holster is probably the best route to take.

Re: restrictions on open carry
How can he cover his butt and yet keep it visible and why would anyone want to see his butt anyway, he's just going to attract... Ohhh... THAT "cover"!
I too, would not advise a shoulder holster unless you REALLY want to be hassled. You gotta keep us posted. I'll go make some popcorn. Between you and Skuggi, it's gonna be like a double feature!I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!
