I downloaded a few episodes, couldn't get into it even though I liked the idea.

I did watch it "from the beginning", that's why I stopped watching it after about five episodes. I felt the acting wasn't very good and the characters were weak. It reminded me of a bad 70's TV show. I tried to force myself to keep watching because it sounded like a good idea, but gave up.

Oh well, we can't all like the same stuff! Sorry for those who followed it, but I can't imagine a petition will save the show. Money talks.

it centers around a town called jericho in kansas. there are a series of nuclear explosions, the country falls apart, and it is teotwawki.

the show is the story of the residents of jericho trying to figure out what happened and trying to survive and re-build (as best they can).

i caught the show every now and then...it was an interesting premise, but the execution was so-so, imho. then again, i find most TV shows to be so-so at best.

it did get pretty interesting toward the end (i actually kinda got into it toward the end and caught the last few episodes) when a neighboring town prepared to and ultimately invaded jericho to steal their farms and salt mine.

i did often find myself screaming "are you guys a bunch of f'in idiots?" at the TV while watching the show...mostly because the mayor was an idiot. there were a few guys who had a clue, but they weren't actually in charge.
