Why so many? Besides liking them, were some real good deals?

I've always done all the work on my Garands, and the guy you referred to limited his options to 50 mile radius.
    regards....

Been collecting them for about 15 years. This pic is 4-5 years old, I've got twice that many now.

Couple = two items of the same kind. I think you meant to say a S#@T Load!

    Great Collection.

Do you pick them up at CMP? Been thinking about picking up a few that are coming back from Greece.

About half have come from the CMP\DCM, some of the most collectable have been found at estate auctions. If you order any of the Greek returns, go with service grade or better. Some of the rackers are a little rough.

Now that is quite a collection!!! Do you shot or collect guns other than garands as well?

After aquiring just about every "flavor" of Garand, I began branching out to other WWII
    weapons. M1 Carbines, 1903's, A3's, K98's, Russian M44, Japanese rifles. Also have
1917's, Krag, and a Pattern 14. Couple years ago I bought a bunch of Russian AK kits
and have built a few of those. Also have AR's, M1A and a couple FAL kits.
Currently I'm looking for an all original SVT 40 (hint, hint)
Don't shoot much anymore, since eyes have become C&R.

I was going through the last pages of this thread, and this is a cool picture so I figured I'd bump it to the top...
