Default Snubbie wheelgun for concealed carry?

Make me some recommendations for a good snubbie revolver for a new concealed carry piece for hot weather. Carrying a Glock 21SF under a light, non baggy t-shirt is next to impossible, and I think a snubnose wheelgun would fit the bill.

They are available in three distinct hammer styles – the "Chiefs Special" with exposed hammer, the "Centennial" frame with fully enclosed hammer and the "Bodyguard" frame (.38 S&W Special +P only) shrouded hammer. Three styles with one idea...perfect personal protection.

Looks like a nice gun. I wonder what recoil is like with +P ammo, considering how light the gun is.

    I like round guns myself.

    S&W 442, 438, or 637 in .38 Special +P.

S&W 340, or 360 in .357 magnum. Tougher to shoot well, but a more potent cartridge.

    Pick one and be happy.

You'll know you fired a gun, but it isn't punishing. Mags in the Airlites on the other hand...

I personally carry a Taurus 85 ultra-lite in a pocket holster thoughout most of the year. This rig becomes very handy in late july wearing shorts and a standard fitting tee-shirt.
Also I have shot and carried +p's in it, but it is not something I do on a regular basis. I personally find firing them in it uncomfortable. I have always wondered how people conceal a larger auto wearing summer atire.

I recommend buying one of the .357 snubs so you can shoot anything and everything through it. Also the main thing about kick with these guns is the handles/grips. They normally only have a 3 finger grip which is smaller and easier to conceal but harder to hold onto. You can buy a Hogue/Pachmayr grip for it for like 20 bucks that has enough grip for all your fingers which makes it no so bad to fire at all. It is also not that big of a difference size wise but im a big guy.
Reputation is what I strive for.

    +1 for the 642 Airweight.

It was my carry piece for a long time. Kicks a little, but you won't regret buying one.

There is a Charter Arms Stainless Undercover for sale right now on the board, and that would fill the bill you have described. I have one, and it is a great performer, neat, easy to carry, and being stainless steel, is not at all difficult to fire with +P. In fact I, personally, see no appreciable difference in recoil between that and regular 125 gr Personal Protection loads.

    As always, YMMV

I was carrying at the picnic wearing a pair of shorts and a T-shirt and had three people ask me if I was carrying. At that venue that's pretty good concealment.

My wife can shoot my .38 without issue. Loaded with +P, most consider it a viable SD weapon.
